Dr. Emily Burnette grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Texas at Dallas. Then, she attended the UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry and obtained her Doctorate in Optometry. She completed training in a variety of healthcare settings across Maine, Nebraska, Washington, and Texas. Dr. Burnette is ready to provide full-scope optometric care including the management of anterior and posterior segment ocular diseases, progressive myopia, and surgical co-management. Currently, she is licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist in Texas. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association.
Dr. Burnette strongly believes that vision plays an important role in each person's quality of life. She aims to provide her patients with clear and comfortable vision while ensuring wonderful patient experiences. Outside of work, Dr. Burnette enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cooking.
