Contact Lens Options
Beyond the Standard Fit

Contact lenses give you the freedom to see clearly without frames getting in the way of work, sports, travel, or everyday activities. The right contact lenses should feel comfortable, provide clear vision, and fit naturally into your daily routine.

At Lauren Alexander Vision Source, we help patients find contact lenses that match the way they use their vision, not simply their prescription.

More People Can Wear Contact Lenses Than They Realize

Contact lenses are available for patients with astigmatism, age-related changes in near vision, active lifestyles, and many other visual needs. Whether you wear glasses every day or only occasionally, contact lenses may provide another option for work, travel, exercise, or everyday convenience.

The first step is determining which lenses are best suited to your eyes.

Order Contact Lenses Online

Reordering your contact lenses is quick and convenient. Existing patients can order eligible replacement lenses online anytime.

Scleral Lenses

Traditional soft contact lenses are not the best choice for every patient. Patients with keratoconus, irregular corneas, severe dry eye, or previous difficulty wearing contact lenses may benefit from specialty lens designs such as scleral lenses or rigid gas-permeable (RGP) lenses.

If contact lenses have not worked well in the past, another lens design may provide a completely different experience.

Your Daily Routine Helps Determine the Right Contact Lens

Contact Lenses Require Their Own Prescription

Comfortable Contact Lenses Start With Healthy Eyes

A contact lens prescription is different from a glasses prescription.

Because contact lenses rest directly on the surface of your eyes, they require additional measurements to evaluate how the lenses fit, move, and interact with your tear film. Even if your glasses prescription has not changed, your contact lens prescription may need to be updated.

A dedicated contact lens examination helps ensure your lenses remain both comfortable and healthy to wear.
