At fifty-seven, facing unforeseen circumstances in my profession where myself and my team had to leave all of our old offices, I reached a turning point. With more years behind me than ahead, I knew this was probably my last chance to build something meaningful and beautiful—a legacy for my children. I named this practice Lauren Alexander Vision Source after Lauren and Alexander because they represent what I wanted to leave behind. Though it’s a gift to them, it’s truly a gift to all the families and children of the San Antonio community. For over two decades, my team and I have served Texas in eye care. Now, together, from every comprehensive eye exam to every frame at every budget, to every aesthetic service, every thoughtful detail of this space is built with purpose—reflecting our shared commitment to excellence and care.
